Meet the Consultant

Jennifer Howard is a member in good standing of these key industry associations, each of which sets individual membership requirements demanding years of specialized experience, education and training, and a firm commitment to continuing education:

Jennifer Howard started her college career by working in the college admissions office at Austin Peay State University during her freshman year of college as part of a scholarship requirement. She continued in college recruiting by working with the athletic office at Austin Peay to give tours to football recruits. Since she desired to start at a smaller college and then have the experience of a large university, she transferred to the University of Tennessee–Knoxville where she was a student trainer with the Lady Vols and the Vols football team. During this time, she worked with the women’s basketball team which won two national championships under Coach Pat Summitt.
  
Upon completion of her Bachelor’s degree in science education, she also received a national certification as an athletic trainer. She started teaching biology, AP biology, physical science, and human anatomy and physiology at Dalton High School and then at Northwest Whitfield High School in Georgia. She currently works with two different sports medicine programs providing high-quality medical care to athletes including emergency management, rehabilitation, and injury treatment.  

Jennifer then received her Master’s degree at Argosy University in Sarasota in school counseling. Since then, she has worked in high school counseling and has been helping students with college admissions for over 16 years. She served on the University of Georgia's High School Advisory Council for two years, traveled to numerous colleges, and met with many college admissions representatives during her time as a school counselor. She has also organized college visits and financial aid seminars for students and parents in addition to being the chairman of a school scholarship committee for over ten years. She has helped organizations write, collect, and distribute scholarship monies and has also written high school profiles and know what the colleges are looking for.
